We developed our MHAODS Strategic Plan with the help of our community and staff.
It describes what kind of care we give to people, their families, and carers. It also explains how we are working to make our services better for people in our region.
The strategic plan explains our main goals for better services:
- Strong leadership and teamwork: Put the right people, systems and processes in place so our services work together as one team.
- Better connection with our community: Build trust, share clear information, and make it easier for people to find and use our services.
- Skilled and supported workers: Train and support our staff so they can do their jobs well and stay with us long term.
- Better ways of providing care: Improve how we deliver care to meet the needs of our region now and in the future.
- Culturally respectful care and growing our First Nations workforce: Support First Nations staff and make sure our services are safe and respectful for everyone.
