We found these priorities by:
- listening to our patients, communities, health partners and staff
- reviewing local health data, risk factors and health service use.
Health care priorities
Our LANA highlights the key health priorities for our region.
These include:
- mental health
- long term health conditions (such as diabetes, kidney or lung problems)
- heart health (including heart disease caused by infection, like rheumatic heart disease)
- alcohol, other drugs and addiction support
- oral health
- health education and prevention
- First Nations health and wellbeing
- maternity, child and youth health
- community health and GP services
- family and domestic violence.
