  • 2026 Department of Health Awards for Excellence - Ideas into Actions

    North West Hospital and Health Service has been recognised at the 2026 Department of Health Awards for Excellence, taking home an award for ‘Ideas into Actions’ for its innovative Paramedic: Remote Hospital model.

  • 2025 National Rural and Remote Health Awards - Rural/Remote Multidisciplinary Collaboration of the Year

    North West Hospital and Health Service has been awarded the “Rural/Remote Multidisciplinary Collaboration of the Year” at the National Rural and Remote Health Awards.

  • 2025 Queensland Reconciliation Awards

    The North West Hospital and Health Service (HHS) and Orange Sky Australia have received the Runner-Up Highly Commended Award for Partnerships in Action: Driving down Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) in remote First Nations communities across North West Queensland at the Queensland Reconciliation Awards on 2 June 2025.

  • 2024 National Rural and Remote Health Award - Dedication to Health in a Remote Location

    North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS), in partnership with the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) in Brisbane, has received national recognition at the National Rural & Remote Health Awards for their "Dedication to Health in a Remote Location."
