Visiting hours

We're flexible about when you can visit someone in hospital, but some wards may have set visiting times.

To find out about visiting rules and hours, contact the hospital before you come in.

What you can bring or send to patients

When you're visiting a person in hospital, you can bring them things like books, magazines and fruit.

Check with the hospital before bringing or sending flowers. Some wards and clinical areas don't allow them.

Hand hygiene

When you're visiting someone in hospital, make sure you clean your hands using soap and water or a hand sanitiser. You need to do this when you enter or leave a patient's room or other areas of the hospital.

Don't visit if you're unwell

Please don't visit anyone in hospital if you have a cold, fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhoea or any other infectious condition.

Getting there

We have information on parking and how to get to each of our hospitals and health centres.
