In a Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) the woman knows the midwife and back up midwives who provide care throughout her pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal period. MGP/Outreach is available at Mount Isa Hospital. Pregnancy care and after birth care is provided at Cloncurry, Julia Creek and McKinlay, Doomadgee and Mornington Island.
