Visiting hours
You can visit 24 hours a day based on the patient's wishes, their care needs, and staff safety. We encourage visits during the set hours below.
General and maternity ward
You can visit every day between:
- 10 am and 1 pm
- 3 pm and 8 pm.
Children’s ward and special care nursery
If you’re the parent or carer of a child, you can visit at any time of the day or night.
Visiting outside of hours
If you can't get to the hospital during visiting hours, talk to the staff in charge of the ward. We may be able to arrange another time for you to visit.

Pharmacy
You can use our pharmacy to fill hospital prescriptions only.
If you're an outpatient or need medicine when you leave hospital, you may need to pay for your medicine. Read more about medicines and your stay in hospital.
Specialist pharmacists also work in areas like cancer care, kidney services and cardiology. They help to make sure patients get medicines that work for them in the way that's most effective.

We have free parking at the hospital, including accessible parking.

Pick up and drop off
We have pick up and drop off areas at the main entrance. We also have short term parking nearby for easier access.
If you need to borrow a wheelchair, ask a volunteer at the information desk.

Cafe on Camooweal
The cafe is inside the hospital, near the main entrance.
They offer a range of fresh sandwiches, salads, homemade burgers, hot food, snacks, and hot and cold drinks.
